FRIENDSHIP
Friendship is that ship that has friends on it,
Friendship is that ship that has friends on it,
We play, eat, fight and retreat for each other’s sake
Make fun on each other and just hang out with each other for one another’s sake.
Children that we were before the pace of life caught us in it’s stride,
We miss each other’s company and just want to beat out the strife.
Singing songs, eating is restaurants, we watch movies of all sorts,
We shout and scream after watching horror movies, and laugh out loud on movies of comedy.
Sometimes we become rowdy just to show our strength but it is in our weaknesses that we have our reason to cover our friends’ faults.
Friendship is that ship that has friends on it,
Friendship is that ship that has friends on it,
Let not the ship of friendship be without friends for a moment
Lest we become drowned in the sea of hopelessness and seek each other out.

THE LIFELINE OF INDIA - THE INDIAN RAILWAYS
Indian Railways, Indian Railways – the symbol of India’s unity
Indian Railways, Iy ndian Railways – the symbol of India’s unity
Is going through a period of novelty and facility,
What with bio-toilets and high speed trains on the horizon,
Needs a lot of safety too and that is the desire of Indians all night through.
With train collision avoidance systems in place
Indian railways – that is the super fast and express trains will win the race.
Introduce more new trains if you must,
But the Indian Government must introduce safety measures on all the trains at first.
Loss of lives and proper twill be avoided
Thus Indian railways will become the best and get the peoples’
complete trust.
THANKS.

SOME THOUGHTFUL WORDS.
Odd even is the formula to control pollution of the air in Delhi and around it.
It is the initiative taken by the Delhi Government led by Shri Arvind Kejriwal ji,
Starting from 1st January 2016, vehicles having even registration numbers will run alternating with odd ones on alternate days of the week,
We hope and pray that this initiative of the Government of Delhi would be a success each and every day.
This experiment should be supported by all the people of India in tandem with the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi ji’s initiative of Swachch Bharat,
The name of India would be held high in nations far and nigh,
So that all the citizens not only of India but the world over could breath sigh of relief and
Thank and support these initiatives and experiments to make once again India clean and green.

ABOUT A GIRL
A girl eating my brain for the last hour hour
A girl eating my brain for the last hour hour
Seems to have no hold on her tongue and cheek
Gives me a look to make me go week in the knees
Sings songs to fill the day with laughter
Songs of comedy, romance horror and all sorts of flavour
Simple yet sweet to make the day complete

YOUTH POEM
By: Samuel Ullman
Youth is not a time of life - it is a state of mind,
it is a temper of the will,
a quality of the imagination,
a vigor of the emotions,
a predominance of courage over timidity,
of the appetite for adventure over love of ease.
Nobody grows old by merely living a number of years.
People grow old only by deserting their ideals.
Years wrinkle the skin,
but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul.
Worry, doubt, self-distrust,
fear and despair - these are the long,
long years that bow the head and
turn the growing spirit back to dust.
Whether they are sixteen or seventy,
there is in every being's heart
the love of wonder,
the sweet amazement at the stars
and starlike things and thoughts,
the undaunted challenge of events,
the unfailing childlike appetite
for what is to come next,
and the joy and the game of life.
You are as young as your faith,
as old as your doubt;
as young as your self-confidence,
as old as your fear,
as young as your hope,
as old as your despair.
When the wires are all down
and all the innermost core of your heart
is covered with the snows of pessimism
and the ice of cynicism,
then you are grown old indeed.
But so long as your heart receives messages
of beauty, cheer, courage, grandeur
and power from the earth,
from man and from the Infinite,
so long you are young.

OUR DEAREST TEACHER MR. DOUG IRELAND
No drinking water, no making water so used to say our very dearest teacher par excellence late Mr. Ireland in class six
No drinking water, no making water so used to say our very dearest teacher par excellence Mr. Ireland in class six
We kids had a lot of fun listening to his movie stories on Thursdays, which was my favorite day of the week
I along with my friends Samit, Neeraj, Siddharth, Somil, Chaitanya, Himanshu and the rest developed a funny streak
We endured punishment for indiscipline and were made to jump on our haunches and run up and down the slopes of the dam which we used to call the “bandha”
Once even had the whole class eight B endure the dreaded punishment drill lovingly called PD by little ones that were us
For no fault of ours (“they” put the blame on us the class eight B for somebody stealing Reebok shoes of class eight c.
The remaining of the poem will be, of course, I trust shall be completed by Samit, Neeraj, Siddharth, Somil, Chaitanya, Himanshu and the rest.
